Despite what is commonly advised by social commentators, my favorite things to talk about are religion and politics. I am a writer, a cook, a kitty companion, and oh yes, an activist. My politics tends to be Social Democratic like Bernie Sanders. Now that's a man who speaks to my heart. Another is Ralph Nader, with whom I would love to have dinner. (OK, these guys are a lot older than me, but they believe what I do, and have the courage to say it.
