**Must love classic rock to "get my profile."

I am perfectly imperfect." A typical free spirit liberal. I live one day at a time to my full potential rather than in the past with regrets. My philosophy? You can either "Sail On," (Lionel Ritchie), or "Walk This Way." (Aerosmith) in life. I'm looking for that person that I can't wait to see eveyday. I miss everytime we are away from each other. My confidant, best friend, lover, okay, let's just get it out there - my "soulmate." I own "Two Tickets to Paradise," (Eddie Money). Anyone want a "Free Ride?"

Me? Music lover (obviously), dreamer (always wanted to be in a rock band - parents had other plans for me - darnit Stevie Nicks - okay that's ONE regret), goal and career oriented, positive, own my car (paid off), and frugal. Honest, caring, loyal, sincere, compassionate, empathetic (bleeding heart liberal), upbeat, and I love my family more than anything. CITY GIRL NOT COUNTRY! I was raised in the city, and have resided in places such as Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Phoenix, Dallas, and Kansas City. Educated (college graduate with a degree in political science). I'm the person that will have your back, if you will have mine. It's the "Journey" that counts, and "Who" you choose to "Show me/you the Way." (Peter Frampton). I'm a one man woman - loyal and "Faithfully." (Journey). My parents were married for 54 years (they were soulmates and a "team").

My prior occupations were in politics, legislation, a campaign staff member, and law firms. I hail from hard-working educated Democrats. I watch and read quite a bit of politics. However, my other favorite interest is college basketball. I'm a "madwoman," during March Madness.

I will "Change Your World," (my favorite, Eric Clapton) for the RIGHT person. It's 2014 and no longer looking through the rearview mirror. Only the windshield directing me to my goals. I had the best parents and upbringing a girl could imagine (not materialistic - unconditional love). My parents were my teachers of life, if you will. They taught me to respect myself first and foremost. In turn, I'll respect the right person, when that one earns my respect. I do not judge on your background, ethnicity, religion, or financial status. I'm not perfect. No one is perfect. Just be yourself, is all I ask. Again, I believe in friends first. I've had too many "HeadGames." (Foreigner).

So, if you like politics, basketball, travelling, people watching, going sledding, ice-skating, whatever the moment brings, I'm the Democrat free spirit for you.
