My friends describe me as a bit reservedu, but nonetheeless kind sensitive empathetic and a good listener. In my free time I enjoy fitness (running 5k's and swimming laps at the local YMCA), hiking, playing piano, volunteering with my church, writing my next novella, and spending time with my college-student twin sons and our cats. I am looking for a partner who is forward leaning, who isn't afraid to be woke, who believes that all human beings are worthy of diginity, fairness, and opportunity, who wants to make their corner of the world a better place because they saw a need and sought to help. I'm seeking a partner who values a spirituality that is inclusive of all humanity and that embraces care of the Earth. So too I am seeking a partner who would find joy in the small everyday moments of sharing a life: growing a garden together, decorating a room, preparing a meal together, sharing and discussing great literature, volunteering for a shared cause, stargazing on a summer night, watching the sun rise on a winter morning. And most importantly. Im seeking a man who has the capacity for an authentic relationship based on friendship and emotional and spiritual intimacy.
